Texas hold'em -- March 19, 2005

[Disclaimer: Events recalled from memory over 2 months after the fact.]

I won. Third time in four months. WTF?!?

I think we had 9 players that night. I think it was Tom, Tom's friend Dave, John Jones, Ken, Frenchy, Jonathan, Craig, Clint and me.

Only thing I remember is folding a king-high flush because I thought one of the other 2 guys (Craig and Frenchy, I think) in on the hand might have the ace. Both had lower flushes. Then I made the mistake of telling everyone what I had done. Tom still gives me shit for not having the balls/brains to call.

Still ended up winning and I think Craig took 2nd. Can't remember who took 3rd.

Classic quote of the night:
Clint is small blind with blinds at 50/100. Preflop, bet comes around to him.

"What, $50 to me? Okay, I'll pay $50 to see the flop."

The instant the 3rd card of the flop has been flipped up...

"I didn't pay $50 to see that."
